Five players earned spots on the USTA's Team USA over the weekend at the Lake Nona campus, joining Whitney Osuigwe, Alexa Noel and Gabby Price on the travel team for players 16-and-under. Osuigwe, Noel and Price had already qualified based on previously established criteria.

Savannah Broadus (15, Carrollton, Texas)

Kylie Collins (15, Savannah, Ga.)

Emma Jackson (15, La Grange, Ill.)

Connie Ma (14, Dublin, Calif.)

Alexandra Yepifanova (15, Aventura, Fla.)

After round robin play among the 16 participants, 8 players advanced to the quarterfinals, with the semifinalists earning four of the spots and a back draw for the final place on the team. Those results can be viewed here. The round robin results are available here.

USTA Player Development provides those on the team with training opportunities, coaching and travel assistance to select USTA National and ITF junior tournaments throughout the summer.

The NCAA released the brackets for the Division III men's and women's team championships today. The tournament begins Thursday with eight teams hosting in both the men's and women's draws. Because the brackets do not have seeding numbers, I'm just spit-balling here, but, in order of top left to bottom right, these are the men's seeds:

Bowdoin
Washington-St. Louis
Claremont-Mudd-Scripps
Chicago
Middlebury
Gustavus Adolphus
Williams
Emory

All but Washington-St. Louis are hosting.

I believe the eight seeded women's teams are, again not numerical but top left to bottom right:

Emory
Chicago
Wesleyan
Middlebury
Claremont-Mudd-Scripps
Tufts
Amherst
Williams

Unlike the men, only half of the women's seeds are hosting: Middlebury, CMS, Tufts and Williams.

The eight teams to come out of the regionals will advance to Claremont California, where CMS will host the team championships May 21-23.

For more on the Division III tournament, see the Division III Tennis blog.

The Division II team championships have completed their preliminary rounds and they begin their round of 16 matches on Tuesday (women) and Wednesday(men) in Surprise Arizona. Click on the heading below for the complete brackets.

1. Barry
2. Columbus State
3. Lander
4. Azusa Pacific

Women's seeds are:
1. Barry
